(Greenfield, MA) Greenfield’s Cocina Lupita is one of the twenty-seven restaurants in the state to participate in a pilot program to expand the use of SNAP benefits, the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program. In the pilot program, individuals experiencing homelessness, disabilities, or households with adults over 60 can utilize their benefits at participating food service establishments, as it makes food more accessible to these individuals by allowing them to purchase ready-to-eat meals.
