Greenfield City Council And School Committee Hold Organizational Meetings, Bottomley City Council President

(Greenfield, MA) Newly reelected Greenfield City Councilor for Precinct 4, John Bottomley, has been voted in as the City Council President. City Council held their organizational meeting Tuesday evening where Bottomley was nominated and voted in as City Council President. Sheila Gilmour has been voted in as the City Council Vice President. Gilmour previously served as City Council President in 2022. A Committee Chairs meeting is scheduled for Monday, January 8th and a full Council meeting for January 17th. 

Just before the City Council organizational meeting, was the Greenfield School Committee organizational meeting. Member Glen Johnson-Mussad was the sole nominee for the role of Committee Chair and was voted into the role this evening. Member Kathryn Martini was voted in as the Committee Vice Chair for the second year in a row and Member Elizabeth Deneeve is now the Committee Secretary.
