(Deerfield, MA) Deerfield voters approved the proposition two and a half exemption in the Special Town Election Tuesday. This was the town’s second attempt at getting voter approval to pay for the costs of the road and sidewalk repairs and re-construction. Voter turn out was significantly improved in this election with about 25% of registered voters casting their ballot; unofficial election results are reporting 555 yes-votes and 458 no’s.
