(Bernardston, MA) A fire broke out at a Bernardston home Sunday afternoon. Reports of a chimney fire came in at 12:36 p.m. and two fire engines and a fire car responded to North Merrifield Road. Once on scene, they found the homeowner had knocked down the fire and sent crews to the roof and interior to check for extension in the home.
