(Deerfield, MA) The renovation and addition project at the Deerfield Tilton Libray has put out their call for contractor bids. The 13,000 square foot project includes a two-story addition and improvements to the existing structure at 75 North Main Street in South Deerfield. When voters approved the project in December of 2022, it was estimated to cost $12.3 million for the design and construction. The design aims to seamlessly blend the historic elements of the existing structure with the new addition, reflected in a recent update to preserve two large trees behind the library.
