(Greenfield, MA) Greenfield Mayor Ginny Desorgher’s communications on the police department, Solid Waste Infrastructure For Recycling Grant, and the Lunt Property clean up have just yesterday been added to this evening’s bustling City Council meeting agenda.The lead PIP, Public Involvement Plan, Petitioner for the Lunt Site Glen Ayers was appointed to the Board of Health last month in the mayor’s first round of appointments and has been nominated as chairman of the board.

Also on tonight’s agenda are council is a vote on filling the Precinct 7 Councilor vacancy which Jesus Leyva, who ran for Councilor-At-Large in the November election,  and Wid Perry, former Human Rights Commissioner, have expressed interest in filing. The council will also be discussing  the 20 and 25% raises for the Police Chief and Deputy Chief and the Recycling Grant to begin an automated single stream collection system.
