GREENFIELD, MA (FRANKLIN COUNTY NOW) — The Greenfield School Committee met last night to hold their budget public hearing. Superintendent Christine DeBarge shared the details of the $27.8 million proposed budget, including funding for all twelve school counselors, meeting all the requests for academic resources both in staffing and materials, funding for the newly signed transportation contract. The school committee voted in favor of the superintendent’s proposed budget, with the exception of Mayor Desorgher who abstained.
