MONTAGUE, MA (FRANKLIN COUNTY NOW) — The Montague Public Libraries will be making updates to their physical and virtues spaces to bring them into compliance with ADA standards. The library website will be rebuilt and will include a community resource page, additionally the library will be purchasing circulating and non-circulating devices to improve accessibility for patrons.
The upgrades are made possible by a competitive $20,000 grant awarded to the Montague Public Libraries by the American Library Association’s Libraries Transforming Communities(LTC) Accessible Small and Rural Communities grant program. The award was officially accepted by the Montague Selectboard at their meeting on Monday, February 26th.
