MONTAGUE, MA (FRANKLIN COUNTY NOW) — An injured individual was transported by Life Flight out of the Montague Plains Friday. Just before 6 p.m. Montague Fire, Police, and Turners Falls Fire Departments responded to the plains where they located the individual and extricated them with the use of a UTV.
At the same time, a porch fire was reported on 3rd Street in Turners Falls which was extinguished by the time crews arrived on scene without any extension into the residence. The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
