ORANGE, MA (FRANKLIN COUNTY NOW) — The Ralph C. Mahar Regional School District, Orange Police, town counsel and the state Department of Children and Families are investigating the process that led to a man working as a school nurse at Fisher Hill School when he did not possess a practical nursing license.
Robert Davis had his certified nursing assistant license and worked from October of last year through February of this year until an anonymous tip led to the discovery of his improper license. The district is taking steps to ensure this does not happen again and a new licensed practical nurse has been hired.
The school committee has a meeting on Monday, April 8th at Fisher Hill and it is anticipated that the committee and public will speak on this matter.
