GREENFIELD, MA (FRANKLIN COUNTY NOW) — Greenfield Community College has collaborated with precision manufacturer NE-XT Technologies for an apprentice program and will be graduating their first class of apprentices this spring. The nine NE-XT Technologies apprentices completed a year-long apprenticeship preparing them for roles as frontline supervisors. This program is one of the ways GCC is expanding offerings in Workforce Development, utilizing tax credits to help fund the training costs.
