ORANGE, MA (FRANKLIN COUNTY NOW) — Ralph C. Mahar Regional School’s Junior Reserve Officers’ Training Corps, or JROTC, program will now be using air riffles for teaching firearm safety and anticipates also using them in competitions next year. The firearms portion of training will be optional for the 32 students in the JROTC program started in August.
