AMHERST, MA (FRANKLIN COUNTY NOW) — Eastman Lane on UMass Amherst’s campus  is closed after a sinkhole broke through the roadway Wednesday. Barriers are in place and crews are on scene making plans for repairs. Eastman Lane is closed from Lot 44 to East Pleasant Street until further notice, according to UMass Police.
