LEYDEN., MA (FRANKLIN COUNTY NOW) — Former Leyden Police Chief and Captain, Daniel and Gilda Galvis, have been accused of violating the conflict of interest law by the State Ethics Commission. The Commission is alleging the spouses worked together in selling town equipment for their own gain, paying stipends to themselves, and other actions, which the Commission is requiring them to justify. Daniel Galvis has pleaded not guilty to charges related to selling town equipment in court.
