ORANGE, MA (FRANKLIN COUNTY NOW) — The Trustees of Soldiers Memorials are fundraising to place a permanent marker on the site of the former Memorial Hall in Orange. The Memorial Hall was built in 1892 behind the current Orange Town Hall and was demolished in 1996 after the building had fallen into disrepair. Memorial Hall was dedicated to veterans, women and men of Orange who supported the Union in the Civil War.
