DEERFIELD, MA (FRANKLIN COUNTY NOW) — Results are in from Deerfield’s Town Election. It was a close race between Carolyn Ness and Blake Gilmore for a seat on the Selectboard. Gilmore won the race with 898 votes while Ness received 857 votes.
Charles Shattuck was elected Town Assessor and Raymond Burniske Jr. was elected Constable. Amy Severance won out against Dana Lavigne for a two-year seat on the Deerfield School Committee, while Mary Ramon and William Dzuira were elected for three-year seats on the School Committee.
