BERNARDSTON, MA (FRANKLIN COUNTY NOW) — Both lanes of Routes 5 & 10 at the Bernardston/Greenfield townline were closed Wednesday evening after a tree fell on power lines causing a transformer to blow in the area of Log Plain Road east at Bernardston Road in Greenfield. Traffic was rerouted to River Street/Lampblack Road and Adams Road while work was underway to make repairs.
