WENDELL, MA (FRANKLIN COUNTY NOW) — A motorcyclist sustained serious injuries and was transported to Athol Memorial Hospital Monday after an accident with an SUV in Wendell.
At approximately 3:20 p.m. reports came in of a Chevy SUV and a Harley Davidson motorcycle having crashed. The roadway was closed for four hours while crews cleaned the scene.
The Massachusetts State Police are in charge of the investigation. Shutesbury, Leverett, New Salem, and State police responded to the scene along with Wendell fire units and an Orange ambulance.
