Athol receives Governor’s Citation recognizing Memorial Building 100th Anniversary

ATHOL, MA (FRANKLIN COUNTY NOW) — Governor Maura Healey and Lt. Governor Kim Driscoll signed a proclamation to the residents of Athol conferring a Governor’s Citation in recognition of the 100th anniversary of the dedication of the Memorial Building.

Athol residents have funded several repairs to the Memorial Building recently including roof repairs, a new cupola, and restoring a historical clock.
