GREENFIELD, MA (FRANKLIN COUNTY NOW) — At Thursday’s Greenfield City Council meeting, the councilors voted to appropriate $150,000 from the Capital Stabilization fund for the purchase of two marked police cruisers. Councilors discussed the desire to move towards leasing the vehicles, however the purchase of these two cruisers was determined necessary to help get the department back on schedule for replacing vehicles routinely.
