CHARLEMONT, MA (FRANKLIN COUNTY NOW) — On Thursday, July 11th MassDOT is hosting a public information meeting on the West Hawley Bridge Project at 6:30 p.m. in the Hawlemont Regional School in Charlemont.
The bridge replacement project will include adding pedestrian and bicycle accommodations, such as two five foot bike lanes with buffers. The construction is estimated to last five years and northbound traffic will be detoured through Tower Road, while the bridge will remain open to southbound traffic.
