ORANGE, MA (FRANKLIN COUNTY NOW) — Friday night just before 8 p.m. Orange fire was dispatched to a reported stove top fire that was believed to be extinguished. When crews arrived, they found heavy smoke coming from the front door and attic vent, finding an active fire at the stovetop and surrounding area. Crews were able to extinguish the fire and safely locate a dog hiding under a bed. No injuries were reported.
