GREENFIELD, MA (FRANKLIN COUNTY NOW) — At Greenfield’s City Council meeting Wednesday night, Mayor Ginny Desorgher announced the city has hired a new interim finance director after the departure of finance director Diana Schindler in April.
The Mayor said the interim director, Stella Chan brings years of private sector experience and “is already making a significant impact” since beginning the role at the end of June with her “dynamic energy and innovative thinking.”
The role of procurement officer is still unfilled, with the Mayor noting at Wednesday’s meeting that it has been difficult to find applicants with that certification but they are in the process of interviewing.
