TURNERS FALLS, MA (FRANKLIN COUNTY NOW) —  On Saturday a possible explosion was reported on Turnpike Road in Turners Falls. Fire crews found smoke but no fire at a home and worked with Eversource and Berkshire Gas to bring the incident under control. One firefighter was transported to the hospital with a leg injury. The Massachusetts State Police and Department of Fire Services are assisting in the investigation.
