FRANKLIN COUNTY, MA (FRANKLIN COUNTY NOW) — Senator Jo Comerford and Governor Maura Healey shared their reactions to President Biden’s Sunday afternoon announcement that he is exiting the presidential race.
Senator Comerford said she believed Biden would “make a decision that was best for the nation, that’s what Joe Biden does” and that Kamala Harris is “proven” and ready.
Governor Healey said Biden’s decision to step away from the race is “the ultimate example of putting the country first.”
