DA’s Head of School leading national group effort to promote diverse discourse

DEERFIELD, MA (FRANKLIN COUNTY NOW) — A national group of school leaders led by Deerfield Academy’s Head of School John Austin have released an educational framework to promote intellectual diversity and productive discourse in the wake of growing political polarization. The framework centers on expressive freedom, non-partisanship, and intellectual diversity by teaching students how to respond to different viewpoints.
