LEYDEN, MA (FRANKLIN COUNTY NOW) — Tomorrow, Saturday August 3rd,  the Leyden Fire Department is celebrating their recent growth with an Open House from noon to 3 p.m. The rural department was sitting at one firefighter about a year ago, and in just over a year, has increased to eight firefighters as well as adding three new vehicles – two firetrucks and one crew vehicle.
