Veteran Montague Selectman Won’t Appear On 2020 Election Ballot

(Montague, MA) — A veteran Montague Selectboard member’s name will NOT appear on the ballot this year. Incumbent Selectboard member Michael Nelson was narrowly defeated 31-28 in the Democratic town caucus by Ashley Arthur, owner of the Five-Eyed Fox in Turners Falls. Arthur’s name will appear on the ballot. Nelson has not decided whether he will seek re-election as a write-in candidate.
