ORANGE, MA (FRANKLIN COUNTY NOW) — The Pinedale Avenue Bridge, connecting Athol and Orange, has officially reopened to all users this week after being closed for nearly two years.
The bridge was closed by MassDOT in December of 2022 after vehicles were ignoring the weight limits for the bridge and while construction faced several setbacks, the $1.7 million reconstruction project was completed last week.
