BERNARDSTON, MA (FRANKLIN COUNTY NOW) — A New Hampshire man was arrested on seven charges following a two car motor vehicle accident at he intersection of Route 10 and Turners Falls Road in Bernardston Friday.

At approximately 3:22 p.m. Bernardston police officer Chabot responded to the scene and found no serious injuries, however a 42 year-old Dublin, New Hampshire man was found in possession of a firearm, ammunition, and a class B drug.

According to Bernardston police, he was arrested on charges of Operating with a Suspended License, Operating an Uninsured Motor Vehicle, Failure to Use Care when Stopping/Starting/Turning, Carrying a Loaded Firearm without License, Possession of Ammunition without an FID, Carrying a Dangerous Weapon, and Possession of a Class B Drug.

Bail was set at $5,000 and he was taken to the Franklin County House of Corrections.
