BELCHERTOWN, MA (FRANKLIN COUNTY NOW) — A judge has overturned the Belchertown’s Police Chief’s decision to deny a firearms license to a resident. The judge claimed the Police Chief’s reason for denying the license was overly broad and vague, which was the omission of a 2019 incident where the resident was charged with possessing a firearm while intoxicated.
