DEERFIELD, MA (FRANKLIN COUNTY NOW) — Local authors are being recognized for their significant literary works by the Massachusetts Center for the Book in the 2024 Massachusetts Book Awards. Melissa Dickey of Deerfield is recognized in the poetry category for her work, Ordinary Entanglement.
Grace Lin of Northampton’s Once Upon a Book won the Early Reader award and the translated literature award went to two more Northampton residents Victoria Offredi Poletto and Giovanna Belles-Contuzzi of Rutgers University Press.
The award winners will be honored at a ceremony in the State House in October.
