SHELBURNE, MA (FRANKLIN COUNTY NOW) — The Shelburne Police Department is warning residents of an email scam after several reports came in from community members who have received emails including personal information, an image of the recipient’s home, and a claim that the sender can remotely access the recipient’s smartphone.
The images have been verified as originating from Google Maps Street View. Anyone who receives an email like this, should contact the Shelburne Police Department or reach out directly to Detective Tucker Jenkins directly at tjenkins@townofshelburnema.gov
