BOSTON, MA (FRANKLIN COUNTY NOW) — State leaders and Revolutionary War re-enactors gathered outside the State House Tuesday to celebrate the launch of the Massachusetts 250 initiative to commemorate the 250th anniversary of the Revolutionary War.
Governor Healey said that Massachusetts is honoring the 250 years since by looking back on “firsts” for the state with celebrations leading up to the 250th anniversary of the Declaration of Independence on July 4th, 2026.
