GREENFIELD, MA (FRANKLIN COUNTY NOW) — Greenfield Police Chief Todd Dodge shared an update on the city’s efforts to advance the Greenfield Alert system, which provides community members who have registered for the system with information during emergencies.
Chief Dodge said “Our plan is to be more responsive and more proactive in our attempts to let our community members know when events take place which may threaten their safety. Receiving alerts will allow the user to take the necessary precautions to further ensure their safety.”
Registration for the alert system can be found on the city’s website under “Greenfield alert service.”
