GREENFIELD, MA (FRANKLIN COUNTY NOW) — The Greenfield Fire Department hosted and trained with New York City Fire Department’s Deputy Chief George Healey last week.
According to fire department officials, Deputy Chief Healey has 33 years of experience with his department and has participated in many fire research studies.
The life-saving training focused on flow path, how air moves through a building which impacts different aspects of fire and smoke like temperature and movement.
