WENDELL, MA (FRANKLIN COUNTY NOW) — Gold treasure has been found in the Wendell State Forest and caught on camera by a trail cam. Project Skydrop began September 19th as a real life treasure hunt created by gamer and writer Jason Rohrer and graphic and audio designer Tom Bailey. The treasure, found by a Boston-area meteorologist contains 10 Troy ounces of 24K gold valued at $26,600 with an additional prize bounty of $87,600 in bitcoin.
