GREENFIELD, MA (FRANKLIN COUNTY NOW) — The Franklin Regional Council of Governments has published their Healthy and Climate Resilient Rivers StoryMap after visiting impaired watersheds in the county and hearing from municipal officials and residents to develop watershed-based plans and implementation projects.
The FRCOG has now applied for grants to fund assessment and the implementation of projects like analyzing potential pollution sources, zoning bylaw updates, mapping, and others that work towards river restorations and flood mitigation.
