GREENFIELD, MA (FRANKLIN COUNTY NOW) — Greenfield’s building commissioner, Mark Snow, has rejected the application for the demolition of the former Zion Korean Church at 463 Main Street due to the application’s incompletion.
An anonymous donor helped the Franklin County YMCA acquire the building in the spring of last year and a representative from the YMCA said at Thursday’s Historical Commission meeting that the application for demolition will be completed. After which, the Historical Commission intends to hold a public hearing to discuss a potential demolition delay.
