BOSTON, MA (FRANKLIN COUNTY NOW) — The Department of Public Health announced Monday that they would be giving $3.1 million in grant funding for two initiatives that address problem gambling in youth and support the workforce in outpatient substance use and gambling treatment facilities. The Youth Leaders in Gambling Prevention project aims to develop problem gambling prevention and awareness through three organizations that will receive $700,000 annually for the program.
