SOUTH HADLEY, MA (FRANKLIN COUNTY NOW) — Two fires occurred in South Hadley over the weekend. On Saturday around 1 p.m., a brush fire broke out on Industrial Drive that took crews almost three hours to extinguish.
On Sunday morning, a fully involved garage fire was reported at 50 Spring Street that had begun spreading to surrounding trees. Crews were able to extinguish the fire before further extension.
No injuries were reported in either fire although the Massachusetts State Police and the South Hadley Fire Department are investigating the cause of the Spring Street garage fire.
