LEVERETT, MA (FRANKLIN COUNTY NOW) — Friday night a vehicle became fully engulfed in flames on Cushman Road in Leverett, and with the existing drought conditions and proximity to the woods, units moved quickly to contain the fire before it could spread.
Around 9:30 p.m. Leverett fire responded to the scene along with Amherst fire units and were able to contain the fire before it spread into the grass. No injuries were reported in the incident.
