GREENFIELD, MA (FRANKLIN COUNTY NOW) — The Northwestern District Attorney’s Office and the Children’s Advocacy Centers of Franklin, North Quabbin, and Hampshire County will be hosting the 10th Safe and Healthy School Summit on Wednesday, October 30th where educators from more than two dozen schools will explore how trauma and adverse childhood experiences manifest in school communities.
Gaelin Elmore, a former NFL player, will be sharing responsive strategies to promote connection and belonging. Elmore spent several years in the foster care system and experienced homelessness and abuse, since then he has made efforts to teach strategies focused on supporting the school community.
