LEVERETT, MA (FRANKLIN COUNTY NOW) — A Tesla collided with a tree in Leverett Wednesday morning, sparking concerns of electrical vehicle fires during drought conditions as they can require significantly more water and resources. According to the Leverett Fire Department, the vehicle in Wednesday’s crash did not catch fire although the department is regularly training on best strategies for new technologies.
