GREENFIELD, MA (FRANKLIN COUNTY NOW) — At Wednesday’s Greenfield School Committee meeting, Superintendent Karin Patenaude announced the recipient of the Communities that Care Coalition Mike Fritz Community Builder Award, Angela Morrissey, the Federal Street Elementary School building monitor.
Nominated by the Federal Street PTO, Morrissey was recognized for her positive impact and dedication to the school community.
Morrissey said she is proud of the work she sees everyday for the students, in a time where everyone may seem at-odds with each other, what she sees is “people doing every possible thing they can to work together to uplift these kids and make them feel safe.”
