ASHFIELD, MA (FRANKLIN COUNTY NOW) — At the Ashfield December 2nd Special Town Meeting, one warrant article will ask residents to vote on rescinding the remaining debt authorization that was not needed for the purchase of the new fire truck and a second will take a vote on the final debt payment for the fire truck.
The three other articles on the warrant include voting on moving funds to a new Wastewater treatment plant repair account, rescinding debt not needed for the Ashfield Lake Dam project, and funding a Town Hall/Fire Station generator.
The Special Town Meeting will take place Monday, December 2nd at 7 p.m. in the Town Hall.
