(undated) – Prices on certain items will remain static during the COVID 19 pandemic. Big Y Supermarkets  has announced that it has implemented a price freeze on more than 10,000 items until July 1.

“This is a critical time for our customers and we wanted to recognize that with more than just words of support,” explained Michael D’Amour, Chief Operating Officer for Big Y. “We have all been though a tough period, and there are certainly challenges ahead, but we felt it was time to do more to help.”

D’Amour says more items are expected to be added to the freeze list. Some freeze list prices may actually go down during this period, but none would go up, and Big Y’s regular sales will continue. A full list of items on the price freeze can be found at www.mybigy.com.
