ERVING, MA (FRANKLIN COUNTY NOW) — This week, Brian Knight of Brian Knight Research Historic Preservation of Manchester, VT, will be in Erving surveying and photographing structures for the Erving Historical Commission’s historic properties survey project.
The focus of the project will be on historically significant structures in Erving-side and in Farley, beginning this month and will last until June of next year when a Cultural Resources report of 140 properties including buildings, structures, parks and landscapes will be finalized.
Funding for this project comes from 50/50 match between the Massachusetts Historical Commission and the voter-approved appropriation for a capital project in FY2024.
