GREENFIELD, MA (FRANKLIN COUNTY NOW) — The Franklin County Solid Waste District has released their holiday recycling guide. Wrapping paper, gift bags, tissue paper, and cards without metallic inks, glitter or foil may all be recycled. Ribbons, bows, light strings, bubble wrap, and Styrofoam are not accepted.
Some local shipping stores will accept packing materials in good condition. Food and paper waste can be recycled at municipal transfer station compost programs.
