WINCHESTER, NH (FRANKLIN COUNTY NOW) — A portion of Route 10 in Winchester, New Hampshire was closed Thursday morning after a serious car accident that sent several people to the hospital.
According to Winchester police, the accident occurred around 8:10 a.m. at the intersection of Route 10 and Coombs Bridge Road. It involved a sedan and an SUV and the sedan’s driver was transported by helicopter to a Bay State hospital in Massachusetts due to the severity of their injuries.
All five of the SUV’s occupants, including three children, were brought by ambulance to the hospital.
The roadway was reopened around 9:30 a.m.
